How to Resize Halftones in Illustrator

When working with halftones, one size definitely doesn't fit all. And it doesn't have to! Halftone brushes are easy to rescale, but how? We're here to help!

Follow the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to resize any RetroSupply Co. halftone pattern brush. We'll be using our DupliTone Lo-Fi Halftones.

After painting your halftones with the blob brush, double click the Scale Tool to bring up the Scale menu options.
Type in your desired percentage into the Uniform settings. Make sure that Transform Objects is unchecked. Make sure that Transform Patterns is checked. Click OK.

💡IMPORTANT: You must repeat these steps for all the brushes you are using. Not using the same scale will create unwanted patterns.
