I discovered Retro Supply through Brad Woodard’s YouTube channel Brave the Woods, and decided to get this brushset in Procreate after watching his video tutorials on how to illustrate a retro winter forest scene and how to illustrate a retro storybook forest scene. Upon opening the brushet and trying it out, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better than I thought! This is a cohesive, well designed collection of high quality brushes, including different textured pencils, light and heavy grain brushes, fill and builder brushes, gouache, crayon, conte, wash and roller brushes. There are just enough brushes in this set to create a wide variety of effects, but not too many to be repetitive.
I feel that a lot of time, effort and care went into making this set. Thank you Retro Supply for a thoughtfully crafted collection!
