Comic Artist Toolkit for Procreate

I am developing an anthology comic that is heavily inspired by EC & Warren comics such as "Tales from the Crypt", "The Haunt of Fear", "Eerie", "Campirella", etc, and the Retro Supply brushes provide the perfect way to emulate those older comic art styles. Marvel Age #13 (a Marvel News magazine) describes the exact same color process and even provides some of the color codes for famous character like Captain America and The Hulk!

It’s been a delight to not only learn the color process through Retro Supply’s thorough explanations, but it’s also been an extremely useful tool when it comes to getting the results I had hoped for. This package is most definitely worth the bang for its buck!

Purchased this for clip studio, where I make the majority of my comics and cartoons, and I couldn't be more pleased with the product. The included Tome font is really rad, and a main reason I bought another comic kit again. I wasnt unsatisfied comparing to truegrit comic kit. Everything works just as good. Coming from someone who purchases these same digital tools for every graphic app I use, along with the competitors, I must say that as much as I hate to take sides, I've been leaning heavily towards making my purchases from retrosupply. I have confidence that if I'm not satisfied, they will make it right. After all, just mention his poor hair-do, and you'll get a refund he says! I'm saving that one for a rainy day.

I took a hard turn and decided I wanted - no, NEEDED - my digital art to look more traditional. I also always admired the look of vintage comic books, pin ups, and cartoons, so I wanted to shift my style into that direction too. This bundle has changed the entire game for me. The ink pens, the halftones, the color palettes, the paper - all of it combined makes superb art that fits the look and style I was going for to a T. If I had to, I'd buy this bundle over and over again. Thank you guys for crafting such a great bundle full of such amazing tools!

i want my art to look like a crusty 60 year old print that someone clearly hasn't taken care of. this does the job perfectly.

as long as you know how to read and aren't too attached to your eyedropper-perfect color matching to a reference you'll have a blast with these. the liner brushes also play very nicely with any style.

duplitone is great for making quick little doodles look good and postable, colorlab is just phenomenal but takes a bit of thinking to get started with, and the paper overlays are some of the best i've seen.

i'm just a hobbyist (mostly fan-)artist so i'm by no means a most reliable source but i thoroughly enjoy these tools and i think they should definitely be part of more peoples' arsenal.
