    Buy These Brushes

    This is, hands down, one of the most useful brush sets I’ve bought. The key word in the set is “subtle” and these brushes allow you to build shade and texture gradually with a generous library of texture shades. They are very responsive to my Apple pen when I use my iPad and Astropad to paint. This is probably the most useful set of brushes for the price in my toolbox.

    Subtle makes a big impact

    I love these brushes. They are so well-made, easy to use and give just the right amount of texture and distress to your work that is so realistic. The edges and folds brushes are such a great addition. The paper cracking brush is so so good.

    Must have brush set!

    I'm a photoshop newbie but these brushes are so simple to use and get amazing effects with very little effort. I am able to make my own vintage labels and stationery without spending hours searching online or paying for items. Well worth the (small) investment and super fun to use. Thank you!

    Great for making maps look old!

    I used these brushes to transform a stock-photo map into a map that looked worn and faded. The brushes add paper texture as well as realistic folds and torn edges. The video tutorial explains the process well.

    Quality brushes

    These brushes have already paid for themselves. The bonus 3-Step Texture Formula Video was insightful and helped me make better textures. One thing I find with Retro Supply's tools is the quality -- each asset is almost always better than other products that I've used to create similar vintage designs.
